Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah update, August 27: Jethalal helps Bhide’s student

In the latest episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Abdul calls Bhide and says that a boy wants to meet him and calls himself his student. Bhide tells Jetha that he doesn’t have to give maintenance cheque for the next three months. Jethalal is adamant that he wants to help the society. Bhide is adamant that he won’t accept any advance.
Jetha and Bhide argue over saving money. Bhide’s student comes in. Bhide asks the student why he isn’t attending online classes. The student says that he doesn’t have a smart phone and therefore, he is unable to attend the class.
He says that his father lost his job during the pandemic and the family is struggling to make ends meet. The student asks Bhide to allow him to deliver achaar-papad, and that way, he can help his father.
Jethalal says that he will gift the boy a laptop so that he can study. The student says that he can’t take it free of charge. Jethalal trades the laptop in return for good marks in the exams. Jethalal tells the boy to inform his parents that his teacher Bhide has gifted him the laptop.
Madhavi and Bhide praise Jethalal. He takes the boy’s address to deliver the laptop at his home. Jethalal accidentally says that he wants to earn good deeds and he can’t tell Bhide that he is doing charity for something in return.
Jethalal is happy that he helped a boy and heard ‘Thank You’ in return, which was a ‘nuskha’ by his mother-in-law.
Bapuji says that God made Jethalal watch those dreams so that he could help the needy ones. Jethalal says he helped the student selflessly.
Taarak calls Jethalal to tell him that Anjal gave him masala tea. Babita and Iyer calls Jethalal to wish him so that he doesn’t get any bad dream. He prays and goes to sleep.
