Salman Khan recently returned to Mumbai from his Panvel farmhouse where he was self-quarantined for four months. The actor, who is currently shooting for his upcoming season of a popular reality show, was reportedly on the radar of a sharpshooter.
According to a report in Zoom, a sharpshooter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was recently arrested by the Faridabad Police in connection with the murder of a resident on June 24. However, during the interrogation, the police discovered that Salman Khan was next on his radar and that he had already done a recce of Salman’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra to apparently kill him. He had reportedly arrived in Mumbai in January this year and stayed in the area for two days.
The report also further added that Sampat Nehra, another member of the gang, had also conducted a recce to plan for the same crime before he was arrested in June 2018.
In a statement issued by the DCP, it’s believed that the accused sharpshooter Rahul had conducted the recce on the directions of Bishnoi and ‘later apprised him of the findings’. However, they were unable to take their plan to the next stage due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Lawrence Bishnoi is a member of the Bishnoi community, which reveres blackbucks. Reportedly, the fact that Salman was embroiled in killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur in 1998 led to Bishnoi holding a grudge against him.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ co-starring Disha Patani. The movie also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
Salman also has ‘Kick 2’ and ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’ in his pipeline.
